How to join the windows and mac worlds
If you're in love with the beauty and simplicity of the Mac main system but likely will use Windows forever due to type of software you employ then you definately may seem like you've got no options. Fortunately there are several options available to help you still get the Mac you would like.
I get a 24" Imac and absolutely love it. I obtained being an Apple customer but were required to switch to Windows when all the work software I used only ran on Windows. Thanks to the newest OS10 that operates on a Linux platform you can run windows over a mac in several different ways.
My personal options are VMWare Fusion which offers you a virtual environment in which to run any main system, not merely windows. Programs called Parallels and VirtualBox do a similar thing. I just preferred the interface of VMWare's product.
You can also use bootcamp which allows you to reboot your computer directly into windows or Mac, take your pick. However, by using this method you can't run both of them at the same time. Using the virtual method above you'll be able to run them concurrently and in many cases drag and drop files from one OS for the other. How sweet is the fact that?
I make use of the mac side of my machine for regularly. The windows side is reserved for third party programs that are not mainstream (internet marketing type) and Quicken, which can be the world's best management of their bucks software for your kitchen at home. If I didn't need those programs a great deal I wouldn't run windows in any way. Mac is simply far superior is respects.
Kristen loves the mac environment. She doesn't like Windows greatly. She also enjoys writing about metal gazebo and bookcase room divider and delta faucets repair.
